Djibril Cissé

Djibril is a retired French professional footballer best known for his lightning pace and goal‑scoring prowess. He played for clubs including Auxerre, Liverpool (winning the Champions League in 2005), Marseille, Panathinaikos, Sunderland and QPR. He also represented France, earning 41 caps and appearing at the 2002 and 2010 World Cups.

Since hanging up his boots, Djibril has a multi‑faceted career. He has returned to Auxerre in a coaching role, working with the Strikers. Under the DJ alias Tcheba, he frequently takes to the desks at clubs and festivals around the world. Known for his passion for fashion, Djibril is a regular on the catwalk, most recently at Paris Fashion Week in January 2025, walking for Yohji Yamamoto’s Y‑3 label . He has also founded his own streetwear brand Mr Lenoir.
